| the Breede River Valley is where you want to go for the wine that Daniel has mentioned below. Some of these places you can get to from Cape Town and it may take you less than an hour. Franschhoek is very scenic as it is productive in quality wine. This place has a trace of its French heritage (hence the name) and true to their French origins they have some great restaurants here. South African wine shouldn't be missed and if you're not sure, why not stop by and grab one at your local supermarket and see what I mean? |
