My husband, daughter and I had a very bad experience at Heritage Hills. Cold food, bad service, awful seating arrangements, etc. My husband wanted to complain right then and there but we were both pretty angry, we already commented on the cold food and needing drinks so I felt that it was best to call the next day and speak with a manager. The next day I spoke with a manager who seemed a little young and not too sure of herself on the phone. She told me that she would have her boss contact me. I waited a couple days and decided to try calling him because I was afraid the other manager didn't pass along the message. He didn't call back. I tried again two days later and they promised me that they would have him call, but he never did. I waited 4 more days and at this point my anger was magnified. After all, our meal cost a fortune and we barely ate anything, besides the fact that it had been a holiday and the experience had put a damper on our day. I called again but this time spoke to a very nice woman at the front desk. She in turn forwarded my message to her boss who then told the manager who was supposed to contact me in the first place. He FINALLY called but gave me absolutely no satisfaction! He was cocky and not at all apologetic. He tried to spin everything as if it was just my family who had a bad experience. It was a buffet, we all ate the same food so I honestly can't understand how no one else noticed the cold meat or minded the table set up! Then he asked ME what I wanted from him. Well, I was already embarrassed about my pestering to get him to call me and the fact that he spent the entire time basically telling me that I had some distorted view on the experience that I wasn't about to ask for our money back. He gave me two options. One was to attend a similar buffet on them. Trust me, we weren't about to relive that experience! Then he offered a dinner for JUST my husband and I at their other restaurant but told me to call him when we were coming in rather than send us a gift certificate. Like we would really set ourselves up for that! Besides, if we do plan to come in, who's to say he'll even call me back or arrange for our complimentary meal! So, in other words. Take your chances with this place. The food can be good, the place is beautiful BUT if you have a bad experience, just consider your money blown! |
