The Pretenda - user review I'm from Dallas. Lived in NYC for a long time where W's (and their bars) are plentiful. This was so, so sad. I really wanted to like it (for Dallas' sake), unfortunately it is an expensive bore. Even worse, they attempt to enforce dress codes "here and there." Very crowed, service not good - user review We have stayed at W hotels before but the new W in Dallas is a mess. We arrived at 3:00 on Saturday to check in and were told that our room was not ready. JUST SAY NO! - user review We were given a wedding gift of a night at the W. We would probably enjoyed a new blender more. We asked for a smoking room, which we received with NO ash trays.
