Sainte-Marie-du-Mont Travel Guide

Sainte-Marie-du-Mont is a small village in the Manche region of Normandy, located in northwestern France. It was the site of a military battle between the American 101st Airborne Division and the German Wermacht on June 6th, 1944 (D-Day). Today, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont is visited by tourists of Normandy as one of the last stops in the region of Manche before setting off for Calvados.
