Its lobby has an easy, urban feel, while the living room, with a hearth fire and natural wood and leather furnishings, is full of warm elegance. The 164 rooms are decorated... eluxury.com

No title - expert review It may be small and lack common areas, but the boutique Prescott Hotel has some big things going for it. The staff treats you like royalty, rooms are attractively unfrilly and masculine (not to mention updated in 2004), the location (just a block from Union Square) is perfect, and limited room servi... frommers.com
No title - expert review This hot hotel opened in 1989 in conjunction with Wolfgang Pucks Postrio restaurant. It is perhaps one of the best projects of hotelier par excellence Bill Kimpton. No title - expert review The Prescott is a classy hotel with a wonderful location just a block from Union Square. A hotel for fifteen years, two independent buildings have been joined as one. It is interesting to note that they both enjoyed a colorful past as a speakeasy in 1911. There are still areas of floor that creak wi... karenbrown.com

location, location, location - user review At first, I was disappointed in the room (very small and not as luxurious as I'd expect from a 4 star hotel), but the longer we stayed, we found it didn't matter as we weren't in the room much. The location was excellent as it was close to so much food, shopping and public transportation. The beds w... eastbay.citysearch.com

Nice hotel but rooms need freshening up - user review The hotel is small and cozy with a European feel. The lobby area is pretty, and there's a great room off the lobby for guests to hang out, read, etc. There's a great fireplace and they serve complimentary tea/coffee in the a.m. and wine from 5 6 pm. The rooms are very small, with pretty outdated TV'... expedia.com
