Best hotel in Vancouver

I love this hotel, especially for the gorgeous views you'll get at some of the rooms. Nothing beats waking up to the view of the snowcapped Grouse and Cypress Mountains and boats and yachts sailing along Burrard Inlet. I also found the staff really friendly.... some of the best people!

Their Japanese restaurant is first-rate. Great chefs... still remember the taste of that dynamite roll!

Also, if security of a hotel is important to you, their front desk and concierge is at the second level of the hotel. You have to walk across from one end of the hotel to the other and up stairs/escalators just to get there. This gives guests extra protection from robbers, peddlers, rapists, etc. as it is hard for them to make an escape and also the front desk and concierge can monitor who is trying to reach the guest elevators.

If you pack light, you may enjoy your deluxe room with a city view and two queen size beds. On this visit I roomed with another adult. I've stayed at a number of hotels in downtown Vancouver. I chose the Pan Pacific for my recent stay based mostly on the 4.5 star rating found on the expedia site.
