The New Miyako Hotel wouldn't let us book 2 adults and 2 children in one room even though they had rooms with 2 full sized beds, so we booked two rooms. Good value, great location - user review I stayed here a couple of times before I ended up moving to Kyoto. This is a perfectly serviceable hotel, I have no idea what the person who gave it all ones is thinking. The rooms are generously sized (for Japan) and are comfy if not luxurious.
