Unique Setting, Good Wine

We had a lovely experience at Maurice Carrie Winery. The grounds are lovely, filled with roses. The veranda is perfect for sitting, sipping and snacking. They are having a great sale---30% off a case of any 12 wines you want. My favorite wine was the Sauvignon Blanc...very crisp and grassy. The Sangiovese makes you long for Italian food. Two sweet wines are addicting: the late harvest chardonnay and the muscat canelli. The pienapple champagne is a great treat. The staff was friendly and took time to talk about the wines. I highly recommend Maurice Carrie Winery.
