Licko Lesce is a town with 2200 inhabitants located in the Lika field (Licko polje), on the Gospic to Slunj road. The local inhabitants are known as masons, blasters and tunnel-workers. It is interesting to see the local church of the Holy Virgin of the Rosary which was built in 1780. You can fish the best trout in Europe in the river Gacka, where there is also a fishing farm. In the town there is the Gacka Hotel. The ruins of the castle Vitog are nearby. Lots of objects from the Roman period have been found in the vicinity of the village.
