The rooms are well kept, the breakfast is great, and the hotel is close to a metro stop and lots of buses. It's not in the very center of the night life (that is, Bairro Alto), but it's not far and the cabs are cheap. The hotel is drastically nicer than what you would get for the same price in Paris...
