Lives in:
Seattle , Washington , United States
About Me:
I'm very adventurous and spontaneous. I love, love, love to travel and photography is my passion (and hopefully soon my career). I also love art and having new experiences.

I also have a travel blog that I kept when doing a study abroad program last semester. The Address is imaworldtraveler.blogspot.com

I've also gone around the world on a ship sailing on many seas and oceans, but since they don't count as a country they wont show up on the map. From the ship I was able to see Singapore, Malaysia, Yemen, Djibouti, Greece and Italy but it was just a view not a landing :(

Spoken Languages:
English, some spanish, bits of Japanese, Burmese and Arabic and ancient greek (not that it helps much)
Interests:
painting, photography, traveling, skiing/snowboarding, swimming, road trips, scrapbooking, hiking, camping, places off of the beaten path
Favorite Cuisines:
italian, turkish, mexican, chinese, and I LOVE indian Nan bread
Favorite Destinations:
Dubrovnik, Croatia; Vietnam, Istanbul, Myanmar
Favorite Books and Authors:
The Poisonwood Bible, Girl with the Pearl Earring, Harry Potter series, Finding George Orwell in Burma, The Joy Luck Club
Favorite Movies:
Memiors of a Geisha, Top Gun, The Holiday, Hook, Finding Neverland, Bride and Predjudice, bollywood stuff
Most Memorable Travel Experience:
I've decided this question is to hard to answer with only one. There was walking along the winding Torri paths at Fushimi Inari Shrine, drifting trough the canals on the Mekong delta, going to an orphange in Myanmar, seeing the pyramids and the Taj Mahal for the first time, oh, and getting chased by peacocks on Lokrum Island in Croatia.
Favorite Quote:

I'm a substitute teacher. Not glamorous, but it lets me travel in the summer. Congrats on graduation. Where are you graduated from? Have you look for a photography job yet?

Amanda, I'm actually planning a trip this summer to Alaska. I have a friend who moved to Anchorage, so I am going to go visit her. I think I'll like it. I like going to cold places in the summer. I think you'll really like Europe. What kind of work do you do?

Scuba diving IS fun. You should try it. Surprised ya haven't w/ all the traveling you've done. I took the picture when I went diving in Jamaica, so the water you see is Caribbean-flavored. When are you planning your next epic trip? Smile

I like to take photos of outdoor landscape in color. Since I am freelancing I get different projects when companies need new stock footage for magazine articles. Also I had fun looking at your collection of pictures. They are fabuloso!
