No title - expert review The super-swanky Albion is an ultramodern South Beach hotel, and its all about high design. The Art Deco building resembles an ocean liner, complete with portholes for viewing swimmers. Guest rooms feature Art Deco d or and offer CD players, spa bathrobes, and custom-made cucumber-scented bath ameni... mobiltravelguide.howstuffworks.com
No title - expert review Avant-garde Boston architect Carlos Zapata updated this stylish 1939 nautical-deco building by Igor Polevitzky. The two-story lobby sweeps into a secluded courtyard and is framed by an indoor waterfall. A crowd of hip but friendly types makes up the clientele; they like to gather at the mezzanine-le... fodors.com
No title - expert review An architectural masterpiece, originally designed in 1939 by internationally acclaimed architect Igor Polevitzky (of Havana's legendary Hotel Nacional fame), this sleek, modern, nautical-style hotel was once the local headquarters for Abbie Hoffman and the Students for a Democratic Society during th... frommers.com
No title - expert review This landmark 1939 hotel is just off Lincoln Road and a block away from the ocean. Its central South Beach setting puts it within easy walking distance to trendy boutiques as well as numerous dining venues and nightclubs. One of the hotel's standout features is its rooftop pool. Portholes are cut in... gayot.com
No title - expert review Redesigned in 1997 the Albion has the feeling of being aboard a surreal modernist ocean liner. To greet the guests as they enter the hotel is floor to ceiling windows trimmed with nautical mahogany and a 600 foot vertical pond, the courtyard has portholes that look into the swimming pool. The Albion... travel.away.com
No title - expert review Built in 1939 and fully renovated in November 2005, the Albion Hotel is one of Miami Beachs (Fla.) true Art Deco masterpieces. The hotel stands a block from the pedestrian only Lincoln Road Mall, which is filled with shops and restaurants, and serves as home to a symphony orchestra, multiplex cinema... sidestep.com
Old and tired - user review Albion is a great disappointment immediately after you get beyond the nice lobby. Graffitis in the elevators, dirty carpets in cooridors and rooms, nothing but the basic amenities in the rooms and basically all decor getting grim and tired of age. Staff was nice enough and breakfast buffet on the me... miami.citysearch.com
AWESOME - user review First impressions are the best impression. The concierge set the mood for my vacation. Upon an early arrival, before check in time, staff swiftly made our room available for us. Just in time to catch a few rays, before the night activitives. The spacious room was immaculate, with minimalism motif. C... miami.citysearch.com
Good value and GREAT location! - user review For the price, this hotel wasn't bad at all. If you're a budget traveler but like that boutique feel and think location is the most important thing, then you should definitely check this one out! My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful time in Miami Beach no big complaints about the Albion here... miami.citysearch.com
ALBI coming back! - user review Service rocks!!! At first, caught off guard by friendly= cult mentality. Totally wrong. This is what a SoBe stay should be like. Kiss Steakhouse d/stairs, one block from Lincoln Mall, sunburn relief across the street (Genovese, Eckerd), oh, and the beach that is literally 1 block away!! Yeah, the ro... miami.citysearch.com
Not worth it... - user review This hotel looks funky on the website, but once you get past the lobby you realize it is just a facade. The rooms are barren and the mattresses unbearable. I picked it based on location (great location) but ended up wishing we had splurged on something nicer. The restaurant that was once attached is... miami.citysearch.com
Way Overpriced - user review We've stayed at several SoBe hotels with lots of good experiences. This was not one. The lights and phones didn't work. The TV only had about 12 channels no HBO or other premium channels. We've stayed in hotels for half the price with twice the luxury. One positive was the pool open all night and a ... miami.citysearch.com
The Albion, High Style on Lincoln Mall in Miami - user review I arrived at the Albion late at night and a day early, having taken an earlier train south from Jacksonville. Having contemplated a nine hour layover in that fair city, I hopped on board the Silver Meteor and hu... epinions.com
Not Impressed - user review After seeing the countless reviews and pictures for this hotel i was not impressed. The hotel decor was very plain and dull. After the 4th day i felt like i was in an asylum. It did not make comming back to the room everynight plesurable. The only plus to the hotel was the large swimming pool which ... expedia.com
Would definitely go back - user review Beautifully renovated and quiet Art Deco hotel. Our spacious room was a corner room, corner meaning a curved, sweeping window wall with a small view of the ocean just two blocks away. Decor is modernist: black carpet, metal sink in bathroom, photographs on walls, brightly colored pillows for accent.... expedia.com

One night stay - user review For a 1 night getaway for myself and my husband this hotel was worth it for the price, cleanliness, comfort and location. We were barely in the room, except to retire for the night. More than 1 night would likely be uncomfortable due to the small counterspace in the small bathroom and the walking di... expedia.com
Very good hotel - user review I have nothing but praise. The hotel is stylish Art Deco and recently renovated. Good location, if youre on a budget - user review The hotel is average and could be so much more. The front desk staff needs some polishing, and other areas of the hotel could use improvement. But, their rates are very reasonable for South Beach just know that you get what you pay for! The room is clean and comfortable, but the public areas are sho... expedia.com
Great Location - user review This hotel is only 2 3 blocks walking distance to beach. There is a CVS Pharmacy right across the street, where you can pick up ammenities. Lincoln road is only a couple of blocks from the hotel. This is a great district. Lots of good food and neat outdoor dining. We would definatley stay here again... expedia.com
Will certainly return - user review We spent four nights in June and the hotel was all we expected an more. The bathroom is compact but they changed ... expedia.com
